The Greystone Diary: Transcribed from Nadeem H. Noon's handwritten journal, 1999 to 2001

A Diary Found, A Story Told

In 1999, Nadeem H. Noon began keeping a careful, handwritten diary documenting his work with Greystone, a horse owned by Patti Grimm and leased to Nadeem for training and competition. The journal records daily sessions, competition results, injury recovery, and the deep, patient process of building a partnership between horse and rider.

What follows is a full transcription of Nadeem's diary, paired with photographs of the original handwritten pages. These entries offer a rare, intimate window into the mind of a master horseman: his precision, his patience, his philosophy, and his love for the horse.

"Treat every horse as an individual, every rider as family, and every lesson as a chance to grow."

Nadeem H. Noon
